I listen to the voices of generations past, seeking inspiration and life-lessons from cultural treasures on the brink of extinction. Residing within these treasures are melodies that have been perfected by time; melodies so intimate that they speak to the universal.
These traditions resonate through my music - music that celebrates the folkloric heritage of Jews throughout the Mediterranean, and music that has descended from it.
As a performer: Bringing to life different interpretations of traditional music and creating new ones.
As a teacher: Assisting students in their understanding of the body as a musical instrument
As a composer: Using music as a path towards a unique experience that is imbued with tradition -aiming to bring precision and release from boundaries at the same time.
